Job Overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst will help our organization make informed decisions by transforming available data into meaningful insights. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements, process and analyze data, and create self-service dashboards that drive initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support decision-making by translating business requirements into BI products
  • Develop and maintain data models, automation, reports, and dashboards using BI tools.
  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing basic data validation and quality checks.
  • Apply statistical techniques and models to address broad business questions and test hypotheses
  • Actively engage with stakeholders to gather information, explore options, present findings/proposals, and answer clarifying questions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive, up-to-date documentation on the teams data products
  • Take ownership of several data products, ensuring they remain accurate, up-to-date, and relevant
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis, data extraction, and support to leadership and other departments to address specific business questions using readily available data.

Skills and Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry experience in reporting, BI, data analysis, or a similar position with an operations focus
  • Proficiency with SQL, BI tools, or Python for developing data models, automation, and dashboards. Tableau experience is a plus
  • Experience performing business statistics (e.g., descriptive statistics and statistical inference)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills for both business and technical stakeholders

  • A curious mindset with an inquisitive approach to problem-solving

  • Openness to learning and a proactive effort to expand knowledge and skills

  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
