We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Engineer to join our team at Concepcion Durables, Inc. in Cabuyao City Laguna. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to optimise our procurement processes and drive cost savings across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

  1. Analyse spend data and market trends to identify opportunities for strategic sourcing and cost reduction
  2. Develop and execute negotiation strategies to secure favourable contract terms with suppliers
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with the company's overall business objectives
  4. Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met
  5. Implement and continuously improve sourcing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and transparency
  6. Provide recommendations and insights to leadership on strategic sourcing initiatives
  7. Mentor and guide junior members of the procurement team

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities
  3. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  4. Familiarity with procurement best practices, supply chain management, and cost-saving methodologies
  5. Experience in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry is preferred
  6. A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field
