  • Ensures that items being brought in the selling area are properly and safely transported to its designated location / aisle. 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the forklift machine is in good condition and has fully charged batteries before use.
  • Unloads merchandise from the truck/container van in a safe manner.
  • Ensure that all merchandise loaded is placed on pallets.
  • Checks the item numbers if correct and linked with Universal Product Code (UPC) by scanning the merchandise.
  • Receives good merchandise.
  • Puts BINTAG for every item.
  • Issues forms for RVT items, Rejection Form for excess merchandise.
  • Observes proper grooming and wearing and wearing of prescribed company uniform.
  • Ensures that punctuality is observed.
  • Practices courtesy towards everyone whether members, visitors, or employees.
  • Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Adapting to High-Pressure Environments: Managing the demands of a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment where timely movement of goods is critical, often requiring quick decision-making and efficient operations under pressure.
  • Navigating Congested Spaces: Operating forklifts in tight or congested areas with limited space, requiring exceptional maneuvering skills and awareness to avoid collisions and ensure safe handling of materials.
  • Managing Inventory Accuracy: Ensuring accurate handling and documentation of inventory, which involves attention to detail and precision to avoid discrepancies and maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Coordinating with Team Members: Communicating and coordinating effectively with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and departments to ensure smooth operations and address any logistical challenges that arise.
  • Adapting to Changes: Adjusting to changes in operational procedures, layout changes, or new equipment, which requires flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to new processes or technologies.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least High School Diploma
  • Must possess NCII Forklift Operator Certificate
  • At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Forklift Operating or equivalent.
