In this role you will ensure that verifications are complete and thoroughly done, perform independent credit analysis, and make recommendations. Responsibilities include underwriting loans, making approval decisions, and identifying cases needing higher-level review.

What the role will entail

  • Underwriting and deciding on loan applications within delegated authority and within service level standards.
  • Delivers the required number of approvals to achieve business targets/financial goals.
  • Ensures that risks and deviations are properly identified, mitigated, and escalated to the proper delegated approving auth
    o
    rity.

What we're looking for

  • At least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Has working knowledge of credit underwriting and analysis for any of the consumer lending products auto loans, mortgage loans, personal loans, and credit cards.
  • Attentive to details and able to communicate well.
