Job Summary:

This role involves conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on the power systems of Radius nodes, including generators, UPS units, rectifiers, and batteries. Additionally, the technician will perform routine inspections and maintenance on other essential electrical components crucial for the operation of Radius nodes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance checks on generators, UPS units, rectifiers, and batteries at different frequencies throughout the year.
  • Conduct corrective maintenance on nodes, coordinating with internal clients to notify them if power will be affected.
  • Maintain records of installation dates, warranty dates, current load, and runtime.
  • Handle the replacement of UPS units, rectifiers, and batteries as needed.
  • Respond to emergency situations involving the aforementioned components.
  • Test and accept newly installed power components.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2 years of experience in related areas such as generators, UPS units, batteries, rectifiers, and other AC/DC components.
  • Board Passer is an advantage.
  • Good oral communication skills.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Background in AC/DC components and backup systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Ability to work well and communicate effectively with other groups.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal and customer relations skills.
  • Willingness to work shifts, extended hours, and holidays.
  • Driving skills are a must.
