Job Title: Structural Engineer

Department: Engineering

Report to: Structural Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural design principles and be proficient in using relevant software. Responsibilities includes designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, ensuring they meet safety and building codes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Design and Analysis:

Develop structural design for various project, including building, and other structures, using industry-standard software (STAAD, AutoCAD, RCDC and other softwares). Perform structural analysis to ensure designs meet safety and performance requirements.

· Code Compliance:

Ensure all design comply with relevant building codes, standards and regulations (National Structural Code of the Philippines).

· Preparation of Drawings and Specifications:

Prepare detailed structural drawing, specification, and reports for construction purposes.

· Construction Oversight:

Provide on-site support and guidance to construction teams during the construction phase, ensuring designs are implemented correctly. May include site visits and inspections.

· Client Communication:

Collaborate with clients, architect, and other engineers to discuss project requirement, address, concerns, and provide updates.

· Problem Solving:

Identify and resolve any structural issues that may arise during the design or construction phases.

· Budget Management:

Assist in developing and managing project budgets.

· Teamwork:

Collaborate effectively with other engineers and team members.

· Research and Development:

Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. May involve participating in professional development activities.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

· Software Proficiency in using (STAAD, AutoCAD, RCDC and other software).

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Licensed Professional Civil Engineer.
