  • Handling the physical process of loading and unloading cargo, ensuring it is properly secured.
  • Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Utilizing GPS or other tools to plan efficient routes, considering traffic and weather conditions.
  • Maintaining accurate logs of deliveries, fuel consumption, and any incidents or maintenance needs.
  • Communicating with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
  • Adhering to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and procedures.
  • Ensuring timely and professional delivery of goods, and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Conducting minor repairs or maintenance on the vehicle when necessary.
