Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or another security-related field.
  • Has experience in using Endpoint protection like Trend Micro, Firewall.
  • With 1-2 years of experience in information security related to security administration, security operations or security implementation; OR 1-2 years of experience as network or system administrator.
  • Amenable to report in Paseo de Roxas, Makati (Head Office).

Job Description:

Information Security Analyst is responsible for:

  • Administering the day-to-day security operations including review of security incidents and identifying vulnerabilities from logs of security devices
  • Reviewing existing information security policy, procedures, standards, baselines, and guidelines to identify improvements that will align to organization's requirements and security strategy
  • Review existing systems configurations and identify gaps for remediation
  • Design security baselines for network devices, servers, databases, and other endpoints within the organization as needed and monitor implementation of baselines on ongoing basis
  • Work as security responders in the event of incidents
  • Support in improving security posture of the organization
  • Collaborating with departments in ensuring security components of projects are identified and addressed
  • Report security activities to Cybersecurity Head.
  • Support Cybersecurity Head in the design, implementation, review and monitoring of Sumisho's information security strategies and programs that conform to both local and international standards and/or security best practices.
  • Conduct continuous reviews and assessment of Sumisho's information security practices in order to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor security operations on daily basis and work with IT group for the implementation of required actions based on risk and its criticality.
  • Work with departments, as delegated, in the investigation of reported security incidents.
  • Work in projects involving security as assigned.
