LoveYourself Physician

LoveYourself, Inc. is looking for a Clinic Physician. The physician shall provide comprehensive primary care and treatment services to clients, both on-site and online, while upholding the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and professional accountability. This includes medical consultations, treatment planning, follow-ups, and the management of HIV, sexual health, and transgender health concerns. The physician is responsible for completing medical charts, issuing prescriptions and laboratory requests, making appropriate referrals, and preparing medical certificates and clinical abstracts. In addition, they ensure accurate medical documentation, reporting, and coordination with PhilHealth and the Department of Health to maintain compliance and accreditation, including processing health insurance claim forms and supporting clients in accessing essential services.

• Provide medical consultations and primary care services to clients enrolled in the LoveYourself programs.
• Develop, initiate, and monitor individualized treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.
• Conduct follow-up consultations and adjust treatment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with LoveYourself program protocols, DOH guidelines, and PhilHealth accreditation standards.
• Review and sign medical records, prescriptions, and treatment summaries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and reports.
• Coordinate with clinic staff for proper client management and case referrals when necessary.
• Supervise and provide guidance to other healthcare team members regarding patient care.
• Participate in monitoring and evaluation activities related to clinic performance.
• Support the preparation and submission of PhilHealth claims and ensure proper documentation for reimbursements.
• Attend training, orientations, and meetings as required by the clinic or regulatory bodies.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Program Manager, Director of Operations, Chief of Medicine, or a senior organization official as the need arises.

B. Competencies and Qualifications

• A Doctor of Medicine; Licensed Physician with PRC records
• With at least one (1) year clinical experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or infectious diseases (preferred),
• With experience in HIV, STI, and sexual health management is an advantage.
• Preferably living in or near Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City
• CLINICAL - Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Able to provide quality care in accordance with national standards, protocols, and treatment algorithms.
• Familiar with the unique health needs of priority and key populations.
• Capable of delivering responsive health education, promotion, and counseling tailored to client needs.
• Embodies status-neutral, person-centered approaches with unconditional positive regard towards clients.
• TECHNICAL -Proficient in oral and written English business communication.
• Skilled in using computers, ICT equipment, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
• Strong partnership management, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Effective time and workload management, with strong documentation skills.
• OTHERS - Can work with minimal supervision and adapt quickly to clinic needs.
• Highly trainable, resourceful, and detail-oriented.
• Works well within a team, proactive, and open to constructive feedback.
