About the role

Puting Manok Corp. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design, development, projects for the construction, repair of buildings and other construction projects, and maintenance of our mechanical systems and equipment. This is a full-time position based in Ramon Magsaysay Zamboanga Del Sur.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible in Planning, Design, develop and manage projects for the construction, repair of buildings and other construction projects and mechanical systems and equipment.
  2. Manage and supervise on-site personnel.
  3. Focus on Quality of Work to result quality of projects especially in making a plan.
  4. Manage and focus the efficiency and reliability in the workplace (manpower, manage expense (esp. fuel), equipment/tools) to result efficient of work.
  5. Ensuring on-site efficiency and safety at all times (e.g. Protecting Gears, Harnish, etc.)
  6. Perform Technical field of expertise.
  7. Establish time and motion in all task schedules.
  8. Report and update CEO of any site problems specially when the problem is beyond his/her capacity to generate solutions.
  9. Conduct a regular meeting on-site subordinates.
  10. Perform other tasks to be assigned from superior from time to time.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience in civil works, construction projects, or biogas plant operations; ex- abroad is preferred
  • Strong technical skills in mechanical design, analysis, and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Has strong People Management
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
