The Procurement Manager for Services manages all relevant activities on the procurement of assigned good and/or service requirements ensuring timely delivery at lowest TCO; develops and executes sourcing strategies which are aligned with the business objectives and/or global procurement strategies; and drives full compliance with procurement policies, processes and procedures of all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the procurement of assigned categories in accordance to applicable policies, procedures and specifications
  • Drives the realization of savings, supply efficiency, quality and process improvements, in line with regional and global strategies
  • Ensures execution of procurement strategies as required and agreed
  • Identifies savings opportunities and initiates individual projects and initiatives at all operational levels
  • Negotiates in close coordination with stakeholders for local volumes, processes, quality levels and prices
  • Evaluates, recommends, and implements risks mitigation actions for sourcing and supply of goods and services to effectively support the company's 3rd party requirements
  • Ensures that global and local policies and procedures are conveyed to end-users in the Procurement of goods and services
  • Manages and develops sourcing specialist/s where required and address developmental needs
  • Assures team's compliance with applicable laws, ethical standards, policies and code of business conduct
  • Ensures locally generated savings are reported as required and in accordance with global reporting standards

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Business, Engineering, or other related disciplines
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in purchasing, warehousing/inventory management, supply chain management, strategic sourcing and optimal procurement processes and standards
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years management experience within a Procurement or operational environment
  • Preferably with at least one (1) year of experience on data/information processing systems, preferably SAP MM
  • Working knowledge on contracts management, procurement practices/processes, relevant government legislations (BIR, BOC, DTI, DENR) and OH&S rules/regulations
  • Preferably with exposure on basic cement process, application of potential problem analysis, PERT/CPM application
