About the role:

As a Planit Test Engineer you will demonstrate passion and enthusiasm of the testing activities at a project level, and be involved in the planning, monitoring and control of the testing activities to a high standard of quality across single/multiple clients. You should be able to understand databases, write SQL and understand and perform API testing

You will work with our clients on SAP projects, so we are looking for solid testing experience in SAP SCM. You will be joining our exceptionally talented team, we can give you variety, flexibility, opportunities while supporting our clients on their quality assurance journey. Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be involved with Test Planning, Analysis, Design, Estimation, Execution, Defect Management and Reporting. The role will see you performing the usual testing activities day to day to test the behaviour, functionality and integrity of SAP software programmes, including:
  • Review requirements for testability
  • Consult with clients for user and systems requirements when documentation is insufficient
  • Determine test conditions/ test objectives
  • Create comprehensive test cases relevant to test conditions
  • Execute test cases and report results
  • Raise and close defects when necessary
  • Report results periodically to managers across the business

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • At least 3 years' hands on experience in testing SAP platforms covering all areas of SDLC/STLC
  • SAP SCM, SD, MM, WM, S4 Hana knowledge (essential)
  • Manage the defect process as required
  • Skills across numerous test levels, including System, UAT and SIT
  • Able to work within a team responsible for the analysis and planning of large-scale projects
  • Ability to provide estimates for test resources (time, people, environments etc.) and create reports
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities
