Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and user-centric Product Designer to become a vital part of our dynamic PDD team. The ideal candidate will be an empathetic problem-solver with a profound understanding of user-centered design principles. This role involves designing and developing intuitive products that harmonize customer needs with business objectives, overseeing the design process from concept to launch.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct User Research: Identify product challenges and opportunities by conducting qualitative and quantitative research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.

  • Develop Design Concepts: Create user flows, wireframes, storyboards, and interactive prototypes to communicate and test design ideas effectively.

  • Design User Interfaces (UI): Produce high-fidelity mockups and visual designs with a meticulous eye for aesthetics, typography, color, and layout.

  • Iterate and Improve: Gather user feedback, analyze data, and refine designs to continuously enhance the user experience.

  • Collaborate Cross-functionally: Work closely with product managers, engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure design solutions are feasible and align with business strategy.

  • Contribute to Design Systems: Assist in creating and maintaining scalable design systems to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.

  • Advocate for the User: Champion the user's perspective throughout the entire product development process.

  • Stay Current: Remain up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a product design or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of web and mobile design work and a solid understanding of user-centered design.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Autocad, Cinema, Solidworks, Photoshop, or equivalent programs.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, creative problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively in an agile, fast-paced environment.

  • Business Knowledge: Robust business acumen and an understanding of how product design impacts business outcomes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php25,000.00 per month
