Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning (PP):

  • Gather and analyze business requirements for production planning, shop floor execution, and material requirements planning (MRP).
  • Configure PP components such as BOM, routing, work centers, production orders, planning strategies, demand management, and capacity planning.
  • Support integration with MM, SD, WM/EWM, FI/CO, and PM modules.
  • Monitor and optimize production workflows, scheduling, and resource utilization.

Quality Management (QM):

  • Design and configure QM processes including inspection plans, quality notifications, sampling procedures, results recording, usage decisions, and quality certificates.
  • Implement quality control processes across procurement, production, and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with industry/regulatory quality standards and company policies.
  • Support quality audits, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement.

Cross-Module & Project Responsibilities:

  • Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
  • Conduct system testing, UAT support, and troubleshooting of PP/QM-related issues.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and system performance.
  • Participate in SAP upgrades, rollouts, and template deployments.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, production planning, and quality processes.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP PP and/or QM configuration.
  • Knowledge of integration points with MM, SD, WM/EWM, PM, and FI/CO.
  • Analytical, process-oriented, and detail-focused problem solver.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business users.
  • Experience with S/4HANA is a strong advantage.
