JOB PURPOSE

The Jr. Account Manager plays a key role in co-managing the full lifecycle of an assigned product portfolio within the organization. This position ensures that a diverse range of product solutions—including client devices, infrastructure, and services—are strategically positioned, marketed, and supported to achieve both revenue targets and high levels of customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

I. BRAND AND PRODUCT OWNERSHIP

  • Assists the Product Manager in implementing principal strategies that align with the organization's strategies.

  • Conceptualize, co-develop, and implement strategies to push bigger shares.

  • Build a trusted working relationship with the Principal's Brand Account Managers and other suppliers.

  • Ensures that all documents related to the brand is submitted to the brand (Partnership programs, claims etc.).

II. REVENUE AND PROFIT TARGETS

  • Participate actively in winning and converting accounts into sales.

  • Engage and build relationships with customers.

  • Secure favorable pricing from the principal and distributors.

  • Ensure a healthy 6-month funnel.

  • Develop and implement specific account-based strategies.

III. GROW CUSTOMER BASE/ IMPROVE ACCOUNT PENETRATION

  • Co-develop marketing campaigns to increase awareness of the product.

  • Assist in "opening new doors" or introducing new customers.

  • Co-manage marketing funds from principal and distributors.

  • Establish the company as a key partner for the network/enterprise space.

IV. SUSTAINABLE GROWTH

  • Identify growth areas for the product/brand (e.g., new technology, and new services offering, etc.)

  • Empower internal teams to promote and sell the product.

  • Create plans to elevate overall sales/technical capabilities.

  • Co-develop internal sales/technical programs to motivate teams.

  • Work with internal teams (marketing, purchasing, and finance) to drive results.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in any field, IT, or Computer Science is a plus.
  • Proven experience in product management or business development field or in a related role within the IT industry.
  • Experience in PC brands, or Networking brands, or Storage brands is a strong advantage.
  • Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into product solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively.
