We are looking for a Data Support Engineer to join our team and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of customer/member data within our financial systems. This role involves working with internal tools (including mainframe systems), SQL databases, and supporting compliance standards such as AML and data privacy.

This is a technical support role focused on customer data operations—ideal for individuals with a background in data management, mainframe systems, or financial customer records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and update member/customer master data, including names, ID numbers, contact info, and status changes.
  • Perform data validation and issue resolution through mainframe screens (IMS DC) and SQL queries.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy across the customer lifecycle—from onboarding to maintenance and offboarding.
  • Support AML and KYC processes by maintaining accurate and compliant data records.
  • Ensure PII (Personally Identifiable Information) is handled securely and in line with internal and regulatory policies.
  • Collaborate with product, compliance, and support teams to resolve data issues and implement improvements.
  • Provide technical support for internal teams using customer data systems and tools.
  • Document changes, updates, and issue resolutions in a clear and trackable format.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in data operations, technical support, or customer data management.
  • Experience working with mainframe systems (IMS DC) and/or terminal-based applications.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of financial customer/member data and the customer lifecycle.
  • Awareness of AML, KYC, and data privacy regulations.
  • High attention to detail and sensitivity to PII and confidential information.
