Internal Auditor / Analyst III

Location: Binondo, Manila

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

The Internal Auditor/Analyst III executes and supervises risk-based internal audits, ensuring reliable results through disciplined fieldwork, clear documentation, and practical recommendations. This role supports issue follow-up and strengthens control awareness and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in audit planning: scope, objectives, risk/control matrices, and audit programs.
  • Perform and supervise fieldwork: control testing, substantive tests, and compliance checks.
  • Validate exceptions, quantify impact, and maintain strong working paper discipline.
  • Coach junior auditors on testing techniques and documentation.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and draft audit observations and recommendations.
  • Track remediation actions and validate implementation effectiveness.
  • Use data analytics to identify anomalies and recommend process improvements.
  • Support special audits and investigations while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 2–5 years experience in internal audit, external audit, finance operations, or compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising audit fieldwork and coaching junior staff.

Preferred:

  • CIA (in progress or completed) preferred.
  • CPA or CISA advantageous.
  • Experience in ERP/SAP controls (SD/MM/FI touchpoints).
  • Background in tier-1 auditing firms.
  • Training in fraud awareness and investigations advantageous.

Pay: Php20, Php35,000.00 per month
