Job Summary:

The Finance & Admin Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling the cooperative's financial and administrative resources. This position ensures accurate financial reporting, proper cash flow management, and timely payments to farmer-members while maintaining compliance with CDA, BIR, and other regulatory requirements. Additionally, the manager oversees administrative operations, implements office policies, supervises support staff, and ensures efficient workflow and organizational compliance across both finance and administration functions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the cooperative's annual budget and cash flow
  • Oversee daily financial operations, including payments to members
  • Approve payment vouchers and disbursements in coordination with the Treasurer
  • Ensure timely payment to coconut farmer-members
  • Supervise Accounting Officer, Cashier /Treasury Operations Analyst, and indirectly the Accounting Assistant
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to Board, Treasurer, and members
  • Ensure compliance with CDA, BIR, LGU, and other regulatory bodies
  • Coordinate with buyers, banks, and external auditors
  • Enforce internal controls to safeguard cooperative assets
  • Oversee proper allocation and management of funds
  • Oversee overall administrative operations including office management, procurement, and vendor relations.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Supervise administrative staff and coordinate support services such as facility management, security, and record keeping.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and government regulations related to administrative operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • At least 2–3 years experience in finance, accounting, or cooperative management
  • Knowledge of: Cooperative accounting and BIR compliance
  • Strong integrity and trustworthiness
  • Good leadership and supervisory skills
  • Willing to work in Brooke's Point, Palawan
