Job Summary:

The Lead Mechanic is responsible for overseeing all maintenance and repair activities for company vehicles and equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise in both diesel and gasoline engines, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability of all units. The Lead Mechanic will supervise mechanics, coordinate daily workflows, and ensure that all repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring proper workflow, task delegation, and adherence to standards.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and gasoline engines on company vehicles, machinery, or equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and ensure all units follow scheduled service intervals.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues.
  • Conduct inspections and identify parts or systems requiring repair or replacement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, labor hours, parts usage, and service reports.
  • Coordinate with management regarding repair schedules, budget needs, and equipment condition.
  • Train and mentor junior mechanics to improve skill level and performance.
  • Ensure the availability and proper use of tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Lead Mechanic or Senior Technician.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with both diesel and gasoline engines.
  • Ability to diagnose complex engine and mechanical system issues.
  • Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and diagnostic tools.
  • TESDA certification or equivalent vocational training is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks.
  • Willing to be assigned at Cavite Light Industrial Park Silang, Cavite

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php550.00 per day
