JOB SUMMARY:

The Sr. Supervisor, Mall Operations Management plays a critical role in managing the operations of multiple areas within a shopping mall, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for visitors and tenants. By overseeing staff, implementing efficient processes, and maintaining high operational standards, this role contributes to the overall success and profitability of the mall.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned areas within the mall, ensuring efficient functioning and a positive visitor experience. Coordinate with various departments, including housekeeping, security, maintenance, and tenant services, to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.

· Staff Supervision: Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to a team of operational staff. Assign duties, monitor performance, conduct training, and implement performance improvement initiatives. Foster a positive and productive work environment.

· Tenant Relations: Maintain positive relationships with mall tenants, addressing their operational concerns, coordinating services, and ensuring compliance with mall rules and regulations. Act as a liaison between tenants and mall management, facilitating communication and resolving issues in a timely manner.

· Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, crisis management protocols, and safety drills. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure readiness and adherence to safety standards.

· Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the budget for the assigned areas of responsibility. Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure optimal utilization of resources.

· Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services. Monitor vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with agreed-upon service level agreements.

· Continuous Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness, customer experience, and resource utilization. Stay updated with industry best practices and implement innovative solutions.

· Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure adherence to operational standards, cleanliness, and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any non-compliance issues.

· Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular operational reports, performance metrics, and analysis. Provide insights and recommendations based on data to drive operational improvements and decision-making.

Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mall management, marketing, leasing, and finance, to ensure alignment of operational strategies and objectives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including tenants, contractors, and visitors, to address concerns, provide updates, and maintain positive relationships.
