Job Summary:

The Warehouseman is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse. This role supports the logistics and distribution operations by ensuring inventory is properly received, stored, and dispatched in a timely and organized manner.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against delivery documents.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper labeling, storage, and documentation.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with full inventory audits.
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and report any malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification is a plus).
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

  • Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
  • May require overtime, weekend, or shift work depending on operational needs.
