Job Description
The Warehouse Associate for Everlast Toll mill is responsible for managing the efficient handling of raw materials and finished goods at the toll mill for aqua feeds. This includes overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished products while maintaining inventory accuracy and adherence to company standards.

The role involves coordination with the internal teams, to ensure seamless operations and timely deliveries.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
Raw Material Receiving and Storage

  • Receive raw materials delivered to the toll mill, ensuring accurate documentation such as delivery receipts and certificates of analysis.
  • Inspect and verify incoming raw materials for quality, quantity, and compliance with specifications.
  • Ensure proper storage of raw materials in designated areas following FIFO/FEFO principles and storage standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials in the system and update any changes promptly.

Finished Goods Handling and Dispatch

  • Coordinate with production and QA teams to receive finished goods, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with quality standards.
  • Store finished goods in the warehouse in an organized manner, adhering to FIFO/FEFO principles to minimize obsolescence.
  • Collaborate with the Order Management and Fulfillment team to prioritize the dispatch of finished goods based on customer orders.
  • Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of finished goods, coordinating with the Transportation team for delivery schedules.

Inventory Management

  • Conduct regular inventory counts for raw materials and finished goods to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Update inventory records in the system and provide reports as required by management.
  • Monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished goods, and communicate any risks of shortages or overstock to the appropriate teams.

Coordination with Internal Teams

  • Work closely with the Order Management and Fulfillment team to align warehouse operations with customer requirements and priorities.
  • Coordinate with the Transportation team to ensure smooth loading and delivery operations.
  • Communicate with production, QA, and procurement teams to address issues related to raw materials or finished goods.

Compliance and Safety

  • Adhere to company policies, including safety, hygiene, and quality standards in warehouse operations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Participate in safety programs, 5S activities, and internal or external audits as required.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to enhance warehouse processes and suggest improvements to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of new systems or processes to enhance warehouse management.
  • Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the team leader.
