JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: All-Around Maintenance Personnel

Reports To: Building Administrator

Location: Joji Ilagan International School

GENERAL FUNCTION:

The All-Around Maintenance Personnel is responsible for performing a wide range of repair, upkeep, and support tasks across the facility. This role requires versatility in technical skills, physical labor, and operational support to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the premises.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Structural and Technical Repairs

  • Perform welding tasks for gates, railings, fixtures, and minor fabrication needs
  • Execute masonry work including patching, tiling, and concrete repairs
  • Carry out carpentry tasks such as door repairs, shelving, and minor woodwork
  • Assist in plumbing repairs (leaks, clogs, fixture replacements) under supervision
  • Support electricians in basic electrical tasks (lighting, wiring prep, conduit installation)

Parking and Grounds Management

  • Monitor and organize parking areas, ensuring proper vehicle flow and safety
  • Assist in traffic control and enforcement of parking policies
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of outdoor spaces

General Cleaning and Upkeep

  • Support janitorial staff in deep cleaning tasks and waste disposal
  • Maintain cleanliness of maintenance areas, storage rooms, and equipment
  • Respond to urgent repair or cleaning requests during operational hours

Preventive Maintenance and Reporting

  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities and report issues promptly
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Document completed tasks and submit reports to the Building Administrator

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in welding, masonry, carpentry, and general maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
  • Physically fit and capable of manual labor
  • Trustworthy, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (subject to operational needs)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php13, Php14,000.00 per month
