The job holder ensures to meet / perform

The Application Specialist is responsible for the clinical aspects of pre-installation and post-installation of the analyzers being worked out by the sales team. An AS must analyze by all means the clinical reasons behind the results of each analyzers and confidently elucidate to end-customers.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Product presentation to end-user and clients.
  • Installation of analyzers together with the sales representative and service engineer to provide successful installation to the customers.
  • Provide product demonstration with confidence and expertise of the product lines to the end-customers.
  • Ensure quality control and quality assurance of instruments and reagents using internal controls and calibrators to maintain the accuracy and precision of all results.
  • Provide troubleshooting of instruments to customers if needed to provide excellent customer support.
  • Share the expertise and educate customer to ensure their product awareness, handling and basic operations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations for potential customers and explore new markets.
  • Represent at trade exhibitions and staff demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with customers and organize marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze market share data and advise on product developments.
  • Coordinate product launch activities and support focal persons for accounts.
  • Provide support to the sales team to better understand the products by conducting regular meetings in focus to the market trends, competitor analysis and market approach.
  • Maintain record keeping of each competitor data and market data to CRM.
  • Assist in monitoring the inventory stocks especially the reagents, controls and calibrators to the inventory team.
  • Any other duties assigned by management.

Education & Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Medical technology
  • With Professional Registered License or pass the Civil Service Commission

Experience

  • With at least 3 to 5 years' experience working as an Application Specialist to IVD companies
  • In depth knowledge on IVD products especially CLIA, Chemistry and Molecular

Language skills

  • Good command of written and spoken English
