System Engineer

As System Engineer, you will focus on ensuring that Partners Group's Office 365 collaboration tools are seamlessly integrated, highly efficient and secure, enabling our organization to work efficiently and innovate continuously.

You will have the following responsibilities:

Engineer:

• Design, deploy and manage SharePoint Online, Teams and overall Office 365 configuration and security baseline
• Ensure the security and compliance of the organization's M365 environment
• Design and execute migration strategies for transitioning from on-premises systems to M365 SharePoint
• Supports management of Entra ID
• Supports management of Conditional Access
• Stay on top of upcoming changes and new features to be eventually deployed in our organization
• Create comprehensive solutions based on SharePoint object model
• Design and implement solutions aligned with business strategy, security requirements and compliance guidelines

Automate:

• Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline management of Office 365 and self-service processes, mainly based on PowerShell, GraphAPI and Service-Now.
• Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention / management
• Implement automated monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues

Support & Collaborate

• Provide second and third level support for M365 related incidents and service requests.
• Work closely with other IT and cross-functional teams, including network, security and application teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of M365 components

What we expect

• Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems and/or Computer Science or related quantitative field
• Demonstrated experience as an Office 365 Engineer (7+ years' experience in a similar role)
• Demonstrated experience in data migration from on-premise to Office 365.
• Solid knowledge of networking and security concepts
• Solid understanding and practical experience of ITSM/ITIL
• Strong skills in personal organization, prioritization, project management and complex problem solving
• Strong interpersonal skills who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong presentation skills and ability to present and sell her/his ideas/projects to senior stakeholders
• Strong critical thinking skills to understand business pain points and propose effective solutions
• Holds relevant Industry certifications (Office 365, Entra ID, etc.)
