Position Title: Data Management Officer

Job Summary:

  • The Data Management Officer is primarily responsible in utilizing varying data analytics frameworks and data management solutions to deliver actionable insights and support revenue growth, operational cost reduction, efficiency improvement, risk reduction and improve customer experience/ delight.

  • He/she will act as data specialist to the Branch Banking Sector and work with other data teams to understand business needs, manage data across various sources and convert them to useful information that can be leveraged for business opportunities. He/ she will also support the BBS team efficiency and organizational intelligence by spearheading data building initiatives thru report automation and data management improvement initiatives.

Role Exposure:

  • Be part of the team that supports the main channel of the bank

  • Support the growth identification and decision making to ensure sustainable growth for the Branch Banking Sector

  • Opportunity to go up the career ladder and lead the Data Management Team

  • Exposure to close collaboration with Data Warehouse and Data Analytics/ Data Innovation Team leading to a possible cross post or path to an enterprise Data Analytics.
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics or any related field

  • 1-3 years of experience in business analytics, data management, data engineering field (preferably in banking or financial services)

  • Experienced using data visualization tools is a MUST – such as SAS, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik

  • Strong ability to drive data, make data-driven decisions, problem solving skills

  • Must have business acumen (able to translate insights into business implications)

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with various technical team

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders of varying seniority levels is an advantage
