Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Supervisor to lead our HR team and oversee various HR functions. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with employment laws, managing employee relations, and implementing effective HR strategies that align with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of HR practices, and the ability to foster a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor the HR team, providing guidance on best practices in human resources management.
- Manage talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to enhance new hire integration.
- Develop and implement performance management systems to evaluate employee performance effectively.
- Facilitate training and development initiatives to promote employee growth and skill enhancement.
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict management and resolution.
- Administer benefits programs and ensure accurate payroll process.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives related to human capital management.
- Conduct data analysis for HR metrics and reporting to drive process improvement.
- Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support succession planning efforts by identifying high-potential employees for future leadership roles.
- Lead change management initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on strategic planning and program management.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, including FMLA and OSHA regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
- Experience in talent management, employee evaluation, and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation and managing contracts related to HR functions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes within an HR context is preferred.
