Job Summary:
The Assistant Finance Manager supports the Finance Head in overseeing the Finance Department, ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and timely financial reporting. This role supervises finance teams, manages daily accounting operations, supports budgeting and planning activities, and ensures strong internal controls and governance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- More than 5 years relevant experience with supervisory background.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tax compliance, BIR requirements, and audit processes.
- Proficient in financial reporting, financial analysis, accounting standards, and advanced Excel.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Willing to work in BGC, Taguig City
Job Description:
- Lead and supervise the Finance Operations team (AR & Collections, Treasury & Disbursements), including coaching, training, and performance appraisals.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing, recording, and reporting of financial transactions.
- Oversee month-end closing activities (accruals, adjustments, amortization, reconciliations) and prepare required reports and schedules.
- Maintain internal controls, ensure compliance with company policies, and recommend improvements to processes and procedures.
- Support External Audit, BIR audits, and other compliance requirements in coordination with the FR Team.
- Manage billing, collection, disbursement, liquidation, petty cash, and related documentation.
- Monitor and reconcile cash flow, fund balances, and bank accounts.
- Coordinate with business units, clients, suppliers, banks, auditors, and government agencies on financial matters.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Perform other finance-related tasks as needed.
