1. Planning and Design

  • Plan, design, and develop outside plant (OSP) fiber optic and copper network infrastructure.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and construction documents for underground and aerial installations.
  • Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to determine optimal network routes and equipment placement.
  • Ensure network designs comply with industry standards, codes, and client specifications.

2. Project Management and Coordination

  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors during project planning and execution.
  • Develop project timelines, cost estimates, and material requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Review and approve construction plans and as-built documentation.

3. Field Engineering and Implementation

  • Provide technical support and oversight during field construction and installation activities.
  • Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with engineering designs and safety standards.
  • Identify and resolve design or implementation issues during construction.
  • Supervise installation of ducts, manholes, handholes, fiber cables, and other OSP components.

4. Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of network layouts, splicing diagrams, and test results.
  • Prepare and submit engineering reports, project updates, and progress documentation.
  • Update GIS or CAD systems with completed as-built information.

5. Quality Control and Testing

  • Ensure proper fiber splicing, termination, and testing using OTDR, power meters, and other tools.
  • Validate that all installations meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Conduct post-installation reviews to ensure network readiness and integrity.

6. Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure all OSP construction adheres to local regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with utility companies, local authorities, and property owners for permits and right-of-way access.
  • Promote a strong safety culture among field teams and contractors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php21, Php25,000.00 per month
