Job Description
  • Design, build, test, and maintain scalable data management systems and pipelines.
  • Develop and optimize data architectures to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Implement and manage ETL processes for accurate and timely data integration.
  • Perform data modeling to support business and analytics requirements.
  • Build and manage workflows using Airflow, Luigi, or Azkaban.
  • Process and transform large datasets using Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Support real-time streaming using Storm or Spark Streaming.
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and Cassandra.
  • Utilize AWS cloud tools including EC2, EMR, RDS, and Redshift.
  • Write advanced SQL queries and scripts for transformation and analysis.
  • Develop data engineering solutions using Python, Java, Scala, or C++.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for data quality and pipeline issues.
  • Manage metadata, dependencies, and data transformation processes.
  • Collaborate with analysts, scientists, and business teams on data requirements.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across platforms.
  • Maintain monitoring systems and troubleshoot pipeline failures.
  • Document architecture, workflows, and integrations for future reference.
  • Handle multiple projects with strong organizational discipline.
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve scalability and performance.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related fields (Non-Negotiable).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer (Non-Negotiable).
  • Strong experience in Data Modeling (Non-Negotiable).
  • Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka (Non-Negotiable).
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, Cassandra (Non-Negotiable).
  • Proficient with workflow tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow (Non-Negotiable).
  • Experience using AWS services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift (Non-Negotiable).
  • Skilled in stream processing: Storm, Spark Streaming (Non-Negotiable).
  • Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Java, Scala, C++ (Non-Negotiable).
  • Advanced SQL knowledge and ability to work with diverse databases (Non-Negotiable).
  • Experience building and optimizing big data pipelines and datasets (Non-Negotiable).
  • Skilled in root cause analysis for data and system issues (Non-Negotiable).
  • Strong analytical ability with unstructured datasets (Non-Negotiable).
  • Experience in data transformation, metadata, and dependency management (Non-Negotiable).
  • Proven success handling large-scale, disconnected datasets (Non-Negotiable).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills (Non-Negotiable).
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in dynamic settings (Non-Negotiable).
  • Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and scalable data stores (Non-Negotiable).
