THE ROLE

As the
Senior Data Engineer / Architect,
you will design and implement data infrastructures that enable our clients to maximize the value of their data. You will collaborate with client stakeholders, analytics teams, and cross-functional partners to modernize data ecosystems that align with the client's long-term data strategy and strengthen their ability to deliver reliable reporting, advanced analytics, and data-driven decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Architecture & Strategy

  • Assess and modernize client data ecosystems by designing scalable data architectures and implementing end-to-end strategies—from ingestion and storage to transformation, modeling, and consumption.
  • Define best practices for data management, governance, and quality to strengthen trust, consistency, and accessibility of data across the organization.
  • Guide clients through key technology decisions such as cloud migrations, lakehouse adoption, and data warehouse modernization to optimize performance, interoperability, and cost efficiency.

Data Engineering & Implementation

  • Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate diverse data sources such as operational systems, external data sources, and APIs.
  • Design and implement scalable data models that align with business logic and analytical needs, enabling consistent metrics, efficient querying, and a unified single source of truth.
  • Establish monitoring, testing, and alerting frameworks that maintain data reliability and lineage transparency, enabling auditability, and continuous improvement of data processes.

Client Partnership & Delivery

  • Partner closely with client stakeholders to translate business priorities, data challenges, and use cases into technical architecture requirements and data engineering roadmaps.
  • Embed within client teams to ensure solutions are pragmatic, sustainable, and fully integrated into operational workflows.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in clear, actionable terms for non-technical audiences, helping clients make informed decisions.
  • Oversee technical delivery across projects, ensuring engineering outputs are high-quality, aligned with client expectations, and grounded in business value.
  • Engage with potential clients during project scoping to define data architecture approaches, timelines, and resource requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or related roles, with a proven track record of delivering scalable data systems
  • Strong expertise in modern cloud data platforms (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift).
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and or any programming language (e.g., Python, Scala) for building data pipelines and automation frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling, schema design, and ETL/ELT orchestration within modern architectures such as the medallion framework
  • Experience implementing data governance, cataloging, and lineage frameworks within complex organizations.
  • Strong communication, client management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bridge business needs and technical design.
