Responsibilities:
- Act as the principal liaison with the DMW (including MWO), TESDA, OWWA, DFA, and other government bodies.
- Maintain up-to-date expertise on the latest DMW rules, regulations, and circulars pertaining to recruitment, deployment, and worker welfare.
- Ensure strict compliance with all government requirements to maintain the agency's licenses and accreditations.
- Prepare, submit, and secure approval for all necessary documents, including Job Orders, Foreign Principal/Employer Accreditation/Renewal, and Special Recruitment Activity (SRA) permits.
- Manage the processing and follow-up of Overseas Employment Certificates (OECs) and other exit clearances for deployed workers.
- Promptly address and resolve any compliance deficiencies, audit findings, or issues raised by the DMW or other monitoring agencies.
- Coordinate efficiently with internal teams (Recruitment, Finance) to ensure the required data and documents for government filings are accurate and submitted on time.
- Establish and maintain a secure, comprehensive filing system for all official government communications, compliance records, permits, and receipts.
- Process and secure the renewal of general business permits (e.g., Mayor's Permit, barangay clearances).
- Handle the filing and follow-up of documents for corporate changes or registrations as required by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Legal Management, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record in successfully securing Foreign Principal Accreditation, Job Order approvals, and OEC releases.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct, hands-on experience as a Liaison Officer or Compliance Specialist working with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) (or the former POEA).
- Must have a thorough understanding of the Migrant Workers Act and the regulatory requirements for corporate and local business operations in the Philippines.
- Must have strong communication, negotiation, meticulous attention to detail, and a high degree of organizational competence.
- Must be willing to travel locally and within Metro Manila.
