Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Australian Tax Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a range of tax returns and managing complex financial information with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Individual Income Tax Returns and Sole Trader returns
  • Handle Trust and Company tax returns, including BAS
  • Prepare investment schedules and manage capital gains events
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
  • Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Xero Tax and MYOB
  • At least 3+ years of experience as an Accountant
  • Strong knowledge of Australian taxation rules and compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional in presentation and client handling

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
