This role involves market analysis, vendor management, negotiation, and assortment planning to drive sales and profitability, while working closely with planning, marketing, and store teams for timely delivery and effective merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement seasonal buying strategies for assigned categories.
  • Analyze sales, market trends, and customer preferences to select merchandise.
  • Source vendors, negotiate costs and terms to maximize value and margins.
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery and availability.
  • Coordinate with planners for inventory, assortment, and replenishment.
  • Address slow-moving items through markdowns or promotions.
  • Collaborate on product launches, campaigns, and visual displays.
  • Support trend forecasting and product development.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to spot market opportunities.
  • Attend trade shows and vendor meetings to source new products.

Job Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): solid buying experience, retail business management, negotiation, people skills, inventory and stock management, supplier communication and negotiation.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Quezon City.
  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
