Research and Development Specialist (Document Control) is responsible for safeguarding intellectual property, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting product development through robust document and master data management.

Document Control & Compliance

  • Handle and organize confidential R&D documents including recipes, specifications, and work instructions
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and secure distribution of controlled documents
  • Conduct documentation audits across manufacturing sites and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain and improve the Document Database/Masterlist for easy access and tracking
  • Support external audit compliance by providing documentation and data support

Master Data Management (SAP & SKP)

  • Upload and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and item codes in SAP and Syniti Knowledge Platform (SKP)
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality of master data
  • Collaborate with Finance on monthly cost roll-ups, especially for Keymixes
  • Act as the R&D point person for SAP and SKP-related concerns

System & Process Development

  • Administer document management systems and lead corporate-wide alignment initiatives
  • Develop business processes and guides for document control and master data management
  • Monitor and update documents in response to system changes and revisions
  • Release documents only to pre-qualified users and ensure proper tracking and reporting

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Communicate with suppliers regarding regulatory compliance updates
  • Coordinate with PH R&D and other business units on document initiatives and FSSC requirements
  • Prepare and supply material specifications to suppliers as needed

Other Responsibilities

  • Maintain archives of hard and soft copies of controlled documents
  • Support the development and implementation of confidentiality and project agreements
  • Perform other related duties to support the company's business objectives

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a bachelor's degree (any 4-year course/program)
  • Must have an internship experience for fresh graduates. 1-2 years (for experienced) of exposure in document control, master data management, and SAP systems is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skill high attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Willing to be assigned in Calamba, Laguna on a hybrid working set-up (4 days onsite, 1 day work-from-home)
