Job description:
- Process the documents of lined-up crew members and active ex-crew to ensure that all their documents are valid and updated.
- Prepare the contract of approved crew members for POEA processing.
- Coordinates with flag state/visa section to ensure all documents are properly encoded.
- Coordinates with PEME section on crew medical status.
- Request hotel booking and crew monitoring in CRF.
- Prepare the necessary dispatch documents for joining crew members.
- In charge of document segregation crews.
- Coordinates with crew members on their status and joining details.
- Monitors e-mails.
- Scan and upload the renewed documents of crew members.
- Updates HRI to reflect crew readiness status for Travel authorization request.
- In charge of crew sea service for COP/AMOSUP/another legal purpose.
- In charge of crew longevity computation
- Conducts initial dispatch briefings.
- Conducts Shell SOP briefings.
- Updating of 201 files of crew.
- Assists crew members related to their COP and SRC processing.
- Attending to crew members call in case of emergency in route as may be necessary.
- Updating of Google sheets for contract extension of crew onboard.
- Coordinates to accounting receive / release documents of crew (allotment, longevity, blue book etc.)
Qualifications:
- With bachelor's degree Relevant field such as Human Resources, Maritime Management,
- Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage but not required.
- OPEN FOR FRESH GRADUATES
- Entry level position
- With or without experience, but prior experience in crewing or recruitment, especially in the maritime industry is an advantage.
- This is a land based job and successful applicants will be reporting to UPL main branch at Intramuros, Manila.
