Nursing Aide

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor and document patient's vital signs such as temperature and blood pressure and report any changes a/ abnormalities to supervisor.
• Perform delegated task like proper patient positioning, supply assembly, equipment set-up etc.
• Cleans, sterilizes, stores, prepares, and issues dressing packs, treatment trays, and other supplies.
• Provides excellent patient service by assisting Nurse on duty.
• Manages errands for assigned nursing unit such as pickup and delivery of supplies, specimens and specific medicines.
• Help patients with basic activities like eating, dressing, and using the restroom; help patients migrate from beds to wheelchairs.
• Uphold a professional, responsible, and polite atmosphere by showing respect and concern for the dignity of all patients, families, guests, and coworkers.
• Ensuring the safety and welfare of the patient from admission to discharge. including the safe transfer and transport of a patient.
• Perform treatments or medications as prescribed by a doctor or nurse, including douches, suppositories, irrigations, enemas, massages, or catheterizations.
• Work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
• Perform household duties such as changing sheets, laundry cleaning and ensure a hygienic environment.
• Preparation of nursing services shift schedule in coordination with all the members of the team
• Perform clerical duties as needed
• Perform other task that may be assigned from time to time.

Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate of any allied medicine course, Nursing, NCII certification in caregiving or health services
• With at least six (6) months relevant experience
• With BLS training (preferred but not required)
• Customer-oriented and cordial

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php12, Php14,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Nursing Aide: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Basic Life Support (Preferred)
