
Housekeeper/ Office Cleaner

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCleaning & Sanitation
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces in office areas, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
- Sanitize high-touch areas such as door handles, phones, light switches, and shared equipment to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, restock supplies (toilet paper, soap, hand towels), and ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met.
- Handle deep-cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing, window cleaning, and furniture polishing as scheduled or requested.
Waste Management
- Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste according to company and local regulations.
- Monitor recycling practices and separate waste materials as needed to support sustainability efforts.
Office & Facility Maintenance Support
- Maintain cleanliness of meeting rooms, reception areas, and pantry/kitchen facilities throughout the workday.
- Report any damages, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to the supervisor or facilities team promptly.
- Assist with setting up and tidying meeting rooms or events as required.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments in a timely manner.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly
- Maintain proper handling of cleaning equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper or Office Cleaner, preferably in a commercial or professional setting.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness.
- Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and best practices for sanitation.
- Good physical condition with the ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weight.
- Trustworthy, punctual, and able to work independently or with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of spoken or written English (or local language, depending on location).
- Flexible with working hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends when required.
