The Role: Specification Consultant | Technical Data Author (Manila)

This is not software documentation.

At Hubexo, you'll create and maintain construction product data and specifications that architects, engineers, and contractors depend on to design and deliver projects.

The work is detailed, technical, and demanding. You'll translate complex manufacturer information into precise, standard-aligned content that specifiers can trust. In return, you'll gain international exposure, hybrid day-shift stability, and the opportunity to see your work embedded in real buildings across the world.

This is what you'll be doing

• Write product descriptions, upload images, and define accurate product attributes.
• Author new products from manufacturer literature, aligned to Uniclass clause structures and NBS authoring standards.
• Create detailed building product specifications using our platforms.
• Apply our style guide to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Interpret manufacturer comments and translate them into specification clauses.
• Classify products to Uniclass and CAWS.
• Peer-review colleagues' work to safeguard consistency and quality.
• Upload supporting materials: certifications, technical literature, BIM objects, and case studies.

Minimum Qualifications: About You

• This role demands a construction background and precision—it's not an IT technical writing role.
• Degree in a construction-related discipline (Architecture, M&E, Electrical, Landscape).
• 2–3 years' relevant experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Landscape, or related works.
• Knowledge of building regulations and industry standards.
• Prior UK market exposure is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous, organised, and detail-driven.
• Confident with MS Office, databases, and online research.
• Ready to start training immediately in a hybrid, day-shift role (10 AM – 7 PM Manila time).
