As a Medical Assistant / Nurse, you will play a key role in managing patient communication, scheduling, and medical records for a busy healthcare practice. This position is ideal for professionals with strong organizational and communication skills who can ensure smooth clinic operations while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and patient service.


Job Highlights

  • Monthly Rate: Php 40,000-44,000
  • Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage incoming calls in a polite and professional manner.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, surgeries, and consultations.
  • Maintain and update patient records in the medical software.
  • Provide patients with service, fee, and appointment information.
  • Handle billing inquiries and process payments.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and medical staff.
  • Manage email correspondence and administrative paperwork.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with privacy laws.
  • Oversee office inventory and supplies.
  • Maintain organized medical records, including history, medications, allergies, and treatments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a medical receptionist, nurse, or in a similar role.
  • Experience in remote medical records management.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and billing practices.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in medical software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
