The tutor plays a vital role in enhancing student's academic performance in English and Math at both elementary and high school levels. Responsibilities include assessing individual learning needs, developing tailored lesson plans, and delivering engaging instruction to foster understanding and confidence in these subjects. Additionally, the tutors provide ongoing support and feedback to students, monitor progress, and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to ensure mastery of key concepts. Moreover, the tutors collaborate with parents and teachers to create a supportive learning environment that encourages student success and achievement.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of Education majoring in Math and/or English able to teach elementary and high school.
  • Good communication skills, oral and written (English and local dialect), facilitation and report writing skills.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Must have compassion for children.
  • Must be non-judgmental and non-discriminating while respecting the terms of confidentiality.
  • Preferably a resident of Passi City or a nearby town, or willing to relocate to Passi City.
