Qualifications

  • Licensed Nurse; graduate of BS Nursing and registered in the Philippines.
  • With Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Certification by OHNAP; other related OH/OSH certificates are an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in a manufacturing or retail set-up.
  • Professional understanding of nursing techniques, occupational medicine, and occupational safety.
  • Flexible, dynamic, and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to work in Ugong Valenzuela
  • Work schedule follows a 4–5 hour shift rotation.

Job Details

  • Ensure compliance with DOLE OSH Standards and FSSC 22000 requirements.
  • Attend monthly Health & Safety Committee meetings and support workplace accident/illness investigations.
  • Lead and coordinate employees' Annual Physical Examination (APE), medical screening, and health monitoring.
  • Provide immediate medical response, first aid, and treatment during workplace emergencies.
  • Promote health, wellness, GMP, hygiene, and workplace safety awareness through training and campaigns.
  • Maintain and safeguard employee medical records; prepare required DOLE health and safety reports.
  • Participate in internal audits and inspections related to food safety and occupational health.
  • Assist HR/Admin in validating medical requirements of employees and applicants.
  • Support HR in monitoring employee attendance, absences due to sickness, and return-to-work clearances.
