About the role

We are seeking a talented Optometrist to join our team at MANILA BANKERS LIFE INSURANCE CORP'. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and delivering exceptional patient care. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct thorough eye examinations and vision assessments to diagnose and treat eye-related conditions
  • Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, including eyeglasses and contact lenses
  • Educate patients on proper eye care, preventive measures, and treatments
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care
  • Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Actively participate in continued professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

What we're looking for

  • A degree in Optometry or a related healthcare field
  • A valid license to practise as an Optometrist in the Philippines
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an optometry or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and treat eye-related conditions
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
