What You Will Do

  • Responsible for leading the test and finishing lines to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Plans and strategizes production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
  • Plans and execute strategic maneuvers to maximize capacity and resources towards meeting weekly planned moves to finished goods.
  • Confers with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, to develop budget and cost controls, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
  • Review and analyze the FG and Cycle Time VOLPAS/LIPAS performance on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Regular and timely monitoring and review the POR demand thru the Rate Review meetings.
  • Regularly review, update, and submit over-all line capacity and align machine dedication according to demand.
  • Revises production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems.
  • Analyze weekly Test Seconds and Back-end performance.
  • Consults with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.
  • Monitor and review machines' utilization and throughput versus the standard.
  • Responsible for ensuring 100% zero non-compliance during internal/external audits.
  • Initiates and monitors the implementation of both preventive and corrective actions that will help address line issues.
  • Participate and conducts management audit as required and as scheduled. Support and sustain safety programs initiated by the Plant Facilities, EHS & Security (PE&S).
  • Regularly review headcount allocation based on demand. Initiates changes, systems, and services necessary for continuous - line improvement.
  • Arranges and sends immediate subordinates to training for career and personal growth.
  • Review job performance of subordinates.
  • Conducts regular meetings with supervisors and with operators as needed to discuss line issues, group performance, and improvement action plans.
  • Support and actively participate in the Cost Savings, Quality, 5S and ESD Programs of the company.
  • Perform other related duties that may be assigned by the Test Operations Manager.

Who You Are

  • B.S. degree and minimum of 5 years leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
  • Required Trainings: Leadership Training, Process and Product Training, Excel & Microsoft office tools, 8D & FMEA
