This is a full-time Senior Accounting Associate position based in Davao City, Davao del Sur. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial accounts and reporting. What you'll be doing


• Manages general ledger activities including journal entries and reconciliations.

• Assists in the monthly close process and ensure deadlines are met.

• Oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

• Monitors cash flow and assists with budgeting and forecasting.

• Prepares bank reconciliations.

• Prepares and records lapsing schedule.

• Prepares cash budgeting.

• Supervises accounting associates and delegates tasks effectively.

• Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.

• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards

and regulations.

• Develops and implements accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Collaborates with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

• Maintains confidential information by adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

• Performs other functions that maybe assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

What we're looking for


• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field

• With more than 2 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and Generally Accepted

Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or equivalent) and MS Excel

• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and ability to streamline and document processes

• Good leadership skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal departments

• Ability to document accounting policies and procedures and recommend process improvements

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
