Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and dispatch drivers to ensure on-time delivery of orders according to daily workload and customer requirements.
  • Monitor delivery routes and vehicle locations in real-time through GPS and dispatching systems.
  • Track performance against delivery schedules and take immediate action to prevent or minimize late deliveries.
  • Communicate with drivers to provide route updates, resolve unexpected delays (traffic, breakdowns, weather), and reassign orders if necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of delivery times, delays, and incidents for reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, order processing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Analyze recurring delivery issues and recommend process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce repeat problems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service by updating clients on delivery status, especially in case of unavoidable delays.
