Job Title: Licensed Electrical Engineer

Reports To: Property Manager / Building Administrator

Location: Pioneer Highlands South Condominium, Pioneer St. cor. Madison St, Brgy. Barangka Ilaya, Mandaluyong City

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Licensed Electrical Engineer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all electrical systems within the condominium premises to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with local standards and regulations. This role includes supervising electrical maintenance activities, conducting inspections, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring all electrical operations support the overall building operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical System Oversight

  • Monitor, operate, and maintain all electrical equipment and systems (e.g., transformers, generators, switchgears, panel boards, lighting, elevators, fire alarms).
  • Ensure proper distribution of electricity and load balancing throughout the building.
  • Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical installations.

2. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), DOLE-BWC guidelines, and other applicable safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and energy audits to identify risks or areas for improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date permits, testing certifications (e.g., for genset, lightning arresters), and as-built plans.

3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Respond to electrical issues and emergency outages within the condominium premises.
  • Diagnose faults and recommend technical solutions or repairs.
  • Coordinate with outsourced contractors for major works and verify completion as per standards.

4. Energy Management

  • Monitor electricity consumption for common areas; suggest energy-saving measures.
  • Assist in preparing power load analyses for facility planning or renovations.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed records of electrical systems, maintenance activities, test results, and incidents.
  • Submit periodic reports to the Property Manager regarding system status, consumption, and maintenance activities.

6. Team Supervision & Coordination

  • Supervise electricians and technical staff assigned to the property.
  • Conduct training on electrical safety and equipment handling.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Electrical Engineer (PRC Registered)
  • At least 2–5 years of experience in building or facilities management (preferably in high-rise condominiums or commercial buildings)
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, energy management, and safety codes
  • Proficient in reading electrical plans and using test instruments (e.g., multimeter, insulation tester)
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills
  • Willing to work on-call or during emergencies as needed
  • Well verse in reporting.
  • Communication skils.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with gensets, elevators, BMS (Building Management System), and fire detection systems
  • Familiar with condominium association operations and property management systems
  • Can communicate well to subordinates, Higher level/Board of Trustees and residents/occupants.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
