We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled
Technical Support Specialist
with hands-on experience in
Atlassian Jira Service Management (JSM)
. This role focuses on supporting our
IT Service Management (ITSM)
and
Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
environment, built on the Atlassian platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for addressing technical issues, maintaining system stability, and helping end-users effectively leverage JSM features.
Job Summary:
Supports client operations by entering, maintaining, and verifying a high volume of insurance-related data with accuracy and efficiency. Ensures data integrity within internal systems and contribute to the smooth operation of underwriting, claims, and customer service teams. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, compliance-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately input and update insurance policy data, client records, and claims information in internal systems.
- Review and verify data for completeness and correctness before entering into databases.
- Maintain and update electronic files and records in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and customer service teams to ensure data supports timely and efficient workflows.
- Identify and correct data entry errors or inconsistencies.
- Follow internal policies and procedures for data handling and confidentiality.
- Generate routine reports or summaries as requested by team leads or managers.
- Perform administrative support tasks related to data management and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree holder
- 1–2 years of data entry experience, preferably in an insurance or financial services environment.
- Strong keyboarding and typing skills with high accuracy and speed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with insurance systems (e.g., Guidewire, PolicyCenter) is an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
