Basic Purpose / Job Brief: This position is pivotal in shaping the resort's marketing strategies, brand image, and customer experience.
The role is primarily responsible for working with Business Units in the integrated resorts to create integrated marketing communications plans to promote brand awareness of Okada Manila and its subsidiary product brands to target audiences to meet business objectives. The scope covers all aspects of the resort, with particular focus on F&B, retail, SPARK (Recreation and Leisure), and special events. The role involves planning, organizing, and executing integrated marketing communications campaigns and supporting daily marketing needs through collaboration with business units and Corporate Marketing & Communications teams—creative services, media relations, social & digital marketing.
II. Major Responsibilities and Duties: Crafting and executing comprehensive brand strategies aligned with the resort's mission, vision, and business goals. This includes understanding market trends, identifying target segments, and positioning the resort accordingly.
Leading the development, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns across channels including digital, print, and social media. This involves setting goals, budgets, timelines, and measuring performance. Overseeing the development and management of the resort's products and services, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with the brand's value proposition.
Coordination with other departments to enhance offerings such as accommodations, dining, entertainment, and leisure activities is essential. Analyzing industry trends, the competitive landscape, customer preferences, and market opportunities through research to inform strategic decisions and improve market positioning. Focusing on the customer journey to ensure a positive and memorable experience at every touchpoint by working with customer service, sales, and operations teams to foster loyalty.
Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of marketing professionals, including setting goals, providing feedback, and ensuring they have resources and skills for success. Developing and managing the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of funds, monitoring spending, assessing ROI, and making adjustments as needed. Establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders such as vendors, partners, and internal teams, including negotiating agreements and collaborating on joint initiatives.
Other Responsibilities: Leveraging digital marketing tools and platforms to enhance the resort's online presence, including website, social media, email marketing, and online advertising campaigns. Managing budgets and timelines for marketing initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Social and Digital Marketing, Creative, Media Relations, and Partnerships to ensure smooth execution of marketing plans.
III. Job Specifications: Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, marketing communications, or related field. A Master's Degree or additional units is an advantage.
Experience Requirements: Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Marketing Communications Manager or higher, with background in marketing & advertising agencies, account servicing, and experience in F&B, Retail, Leisure, and Recreational products.
