Key Responsibilities

  • Transportation: Safely transport company staff, products, and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on the company vehicle, ensuring it is clean, fueled, and in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues to management.
  • Travel Log: Maintain a travel log to record work hours, travel time, and locations traveled to.
  • Route Planning: Utilize navigation apps to determine the most efficient routes and adjust travel plans to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transport.
  • Compliance: Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving, including speed limits and safety regulations.
  • Communication: Interact professionally with clients and communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors regarding transportation activities.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license for the type of vehicle operated and a clean driving record.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a company driver or in a relevant role is advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, familiarity with GPS devices or map applications, and the ability to lift heavy packages and luggage.
